Mairéad is shaken when Tyler sends her a message demanding to meet in Sunday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Tyler was released without charge after he was questioned about the murder of Damien's sister Laura.
Damien subsequently kidnapped Tyler, but Tyler escaped.
Now, with Damien receiving treatment for a nervous breakdown, Tyler is turning the screw.
On Sunday, Mairéad is horrified when Tyler offers her a truce - on the condition that she backs him publicly as an innocent man.
"You're going to tell everyone that I've been wronged," he says, "that I am the true victim here."
