There’s also the increasing appreciation of how special Scotland's wildlife really is.

For example, the islands are the setting for wildlife spectacles like nowhere else in Scotland.

Former nurse-turned-exotic-animal-broker Tonia Haddix, who refers to herself as the Dolly Parton of chimps, spends her days caring for animals in captivity.

But her limitless love for one chimpanzee spins into a wild cat-and-mouse game with authorities and an animal rights group.

Through the experiences of Tonia and other 'chimp moms’, Chimp Crazy reveals the bonds between owners and their highly intelligent great ape pets.

It also looks at the risks humans take when they raise these animals as members of their family, and the risks to the welfare of the animals themselves.

Shamrock Rovers v Shelbourne (Kick-off 5.45pm). All the action from the Premier Division match at Tallaght Stadium.

Rovers have won the title for the last three seasons, but Shelbourne have set the pace for much of the current campaign, and a victory for them this evening would further enhance their chances of winning the title.

But a win for the hosts would put them back in contention to make it five in a row, which would break their own record for consecutive championship wins.
