Neven's Coastal Food Trails, 8.00pm, RTÉ One

In his brand new six-parter, chef Neven Maguire heads to some of Ireland’s coastal towns visiting restaurants, cafes and street food stalls, and meeting artisan food producers.

It begins in the bustling coastal town of Greystones, where Neven calls in at La Crêperie Pierre Grise and joins Chef Julien Lefebvre who cooks authentic French crêpes and galettes using Irish and French ingredients.

Parked just around the corner is the No. 84 Woodfire Bus, a double decker bus converted into a pizzeria with a traditional wood fired pizza oven. Neven meets pizza maker Ray Murphy and enjoys the house favourite: a 'No. 84’ Neapolitan style pizza.

Staying in Greystones, Neven visits Chakra Indian Restaurant where the team of chefs come from many parts of India, each bringing their own regional cooking traditions.

Head Chef Jay Singh shows Neven a recipe for Chooza Khaas Herikay. This herb marinated Tandoori Chicken Breast with Lavender Korma, is accompanied by a seasonal Irish Aubergine Fritter, with Bell Peppers and Mango Cumin Dressing.

Further south at Kilmullen Farm in Newcastle, Neven meets Margaret Hoctor and Eamon Bourke at their family lamb farm which is within sight of the sea.

Neven’s final stop is in Wexford at The Marlfield House Hotel in Gorey, where he calls into the Conservatory Restaurant to watch Head Chef Patrick Davies prepare Seared Irish King Scallops, Cauliflower Truffle, Chorizo Crumb and Parmesan Crisp.

Grand Designs: 25 Years and Counting, 9.00pm, Channel 4

Kevin McCloud (below) looks back at some of the most incredible projects Grand Designs has followed in celebration of the show's 25th anniversary.

He takes a look at the most experimental projects, the largest and the smallest, the longest and the shortest, the most agonising and the most emotional projects, as well as the greenest and those that have been genuinely life-changing.

He celebrates the triumphs, commiserates the disasters and enjoys some of the funniest scenes, as well as giving an exclusive behind-the-scenes insight into the filming of some of the most iconic moments in Grand Designs history.

The National Television Awards, 8.00pm, UTV

Joel Dommett (below) hosts the 29th National Television Awards live from the O2 London as stars including Vicky McClure, Jessica Gunning and Toby Jones gather for the ceremony.

Featuring exclusive performances including a special medley from Olly Murs. Among the programmes in the running for awards are Fool Me Once, Clarkson's Farm, Baby Reindeer, Mr Bates vs the Post Office, Rose Ayling-Ellis: Signs for Change, Ghosts, Bridgerton and The Traitors.

Brenda Blethyn and Toby Jones are among the nominated actors, while candidates for presenting awards include Alison Hammond, Bradley Walsh and Claudia Winkleman.

Muhammad and Larry, 10.30pm, TG4

Here’s a boxing documentary combining previously unseen and archive footage with fresh insights from boxing experts who were at the famous fight between Muhammad Ali (above) and Larry Holmes in 1980.

This film takes a closer look at the connections that evolved, both in and out of the ring, between these two amazing athletes.

Sally Wainright Remembers Happy Valley, 10.00pm, BBC Four

The writer looks back on the origins of the acclaimed cop drama Happy Valley, which first appeared on the BBC screens in 2014.

Sally speaks about the early days of the series, sharing the inside story of how the show first came together and the challenges faced in those early days.

Plus, she discusses the pressures of living up to expectations once the series had established itself as a success.

Followed at 10.15pm by the first-ever episode of Happy Valley.

Then at 11.20pm there’s This Cultural Life, where John Wilson talks to Sally Wainwright about her life, work and creative process, including her early career writing for The Archers and Coronation Street.

The Repair Shop, 8.00pm, BBC One

New expert Rebecca Bissonnet meets Abid who brings in a handmade embroidered ceremonial coat from 19th-century India worn by his great-grandfather, Sultan Mohammad Shah.

Vintage bike enthusiast Dominic Chinea is tasked with repairing a homemade children's motorbike made from scratch by Becky and Al's Dad in 1965.

Suzie Fletcher restores a vintage suede handbag brought in by Charlotte who bought the bag on the trip of a lifetime to New York.

Finally, Ron from Dorset brings in a magic box used to perform the 'sliding die' trick for woodworker Will Kirk.

Dermot Bannon's Super Small Spaces, 9.35pm, RTÉ One

Dermot continues his travels around Ireland to visit a variety of impressive homes, and this week features a small successful coffee business in Dublin and a renovated farmhand's cottage in Kerry.

Celebrity Race Across the World, 9.00pm, BBC One

In the penultimate leg of the race, the teams travel from Tigre up high in the far north of Argentina to the 10,000-year-old mountain town of Tilcara.

The teams have just four days and limited budges to traverse almost half the length of Argentina.

Race leaders Scott and Sam opt to take the road less travelled, feeling the pressure of their big ferry spend, while Kelly and Jeremy take the most direct route.

and Mary Ellen come up with a plan to stretch their budget as they're left with just 19 percent of what they had and Jeff and Freddy are determined to make up the time they've lost.

Respect, 10.40pm, BBC One

Biopic of soul legend Aretha Franklin, following the first three decades of her life, starring Jennifer Hudson and Forest Whitaker.

That ranges from being born as a musical prodigy in an affluent African-American family, the repercussions of losing her mother when she was just 10, to her arduous rise to international musical stardom.

The latter happened while enduring an abusive marriage, and the story ultimately concludes with the recording of her influential live album Amazing Grace.

Also tonight: Joker (9.10pm, RTÉ2), Todd Phillips' critically acclaimed drama about the origin of Batman’s great villain, with an Oscar-winning performance from Joaquin Phoenix.
