Advance tickets sold as Oasis warn secondary sellers

Oasis tickets went on sale on Friday night for the lucky punters who managed to secure early access codes prior to Saturday's general sale.

But already there are individual tickets available online for up to five-figure sums.

On X, Oasis warned anyone who may be tempted to sell on their tickets on for a profit.

"We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale," the statement began.

"Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets
. Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be canceled by the promoters."

But just hours after the presale began, Oasis tickets were being relisted for extortionate prices that may tempt desperate fans.

Oasis tickets for Wembley Stadium are listed on Viagogo for up to £5,909 while some tickets at the London venue, listed as "Hospitality Club", are on sale for £10,578 on StubHub.

A limited number of people were able to buy the first batch of tickets from 7pm on Friday.

Those who were successful in the ballot were not necessarily guaranteed success at obtaining tickets as they are being sold on a "first come first served basis".

Those unable to secure tickets can join the masses on Saturday morning hoping to land a space at one of the rock band's gigs next summer.

Tickets for their 15 UK shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff will go on sale at 9am on Saturday while the sale for their two Dublin gigs will launch an hour earlier at 8am.

The band had to reassure fans earlier this week that confirmation emails would be sent to those who had entered the ballot after they claimed to receive an "unprecedented volume" of interest.
