DWTS' Jennifer Zamparelli, Doireann Garrihy and The 2 Johnnies to make TV return

Former 2FM stars Jennifer Zamparelli, Doireann Garrihy and comedy duo The 2 Johnnies are set to make their return to TV as RTÉ launches a new season of programming.

In May, Garrihy said she wanted to "pursue the projects I've been dreaming about" after five years working on 2FM Breakfast, while Zamparelli shocked listeners with her exit news later in the month after "10 amazing years" presenting her daily show on the station.

The co-hosts are set to return to our TV screens for the new series of Dancing with the Stars on RTÉ One as a string of new celebrities compete for the coveted glitterball.

The 2 Johnnies are also set to return to RTÉ screens just months after departing from 2fm.

Johnny B and Johnny Smacks joined the radio station two years ago but presented their final drivetime show on 31 May.

The Tipperary pair are set to return to RTÉ2 with the Late Night Lock In where "comedy, friendship and pure craic" take centre stage.

Angela Scanlon will take an unfiltered look at the realities of confronting anorexia in Anorexia, My Family and Me while Imelda May revives lesser-known Irish folk songs with guest artists in An Leabhar Nótaí.

The Boy That Never Was starts on RTÉ One this Sunday at 9:30pm
