Sinéad emerged onto the music scene through university talent shows and has collaborated with producers like Disclosure and Kaytranada.

She has released three albums, Lessons in Love, Ready Is Always Too Late, and Boundaries.

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I love roast potatoes. I have OCD overthinking. And I'm really worried about what we’re doing to the Earth.

How would you describe your music?

Deep, emotional, autobiographical, and true to the time of my life in which it was written.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Donny Hathaway, James Blake, Amy Winehouse, Frank Ocean, early Coldplay.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

Christina Aguilera.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Aaliyah’s self-titled album.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Omar Apollo - Ice Slippin’.

Favourite lyric of all time?
