Ken Bruce (below) returns to challenge music fans to recall facts and stats about their favourite chart toppers and beyond, from the 1950s to the present day.
The second season kicks off with two special celebrity episodes, as famous faces compete to be top of the pops.
In the first celebrity special, singer Toyah Willcox, actor and rapper Richard Blackwood, actor Sally Lindsay, radio DJ and presenter MistaJam and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt battle it out to see who'll take home the silver or gold disc.

Joe Jackson: Sight and Sound in Concert, 9.50pm, BBC Two
A Joe Jackson night begins with the singer and his band on stage at the Regal Theatre, Hitchin, in January 1983, performing songs from Night and Day, including the top 10 hit Steppin' Out.
It also features reworked versions of earlier songs such as On the Radio, Sunday Papers, Look Sharp! and an a cappella version of Is She Really Going Out with Him?
Then at 10.30pm there’s Joe Jackson: Rock Goes to College. Pete Drummond introduces a set by Joe Jackson at Hatfield Polytechnic in 1979, in which he and his band work their way through a number of songs from their first and second albums.
Then at 11.40pm - after Top of the Pops - there's Joe Jackson: That Was Then, This Is Now, a profile of the singer-songwriter, the pianist from Burton-on-Trent who trained at London's Royal Academy of Music, only to become known as the 'angry man of pop'.
But never one to stand still, he went on to change musical styles on a whim, experimenting with jazz, reggae and classical. Originally broadcast in April 1980.
Miriam Margolyes: A New Australian Adventure, 9.00pm, BBC Two
This week's episode heads to Byron Bay, which sits on the easternmost point of Australia, became famous as a beacon of creativity and freedom.
And now Miriam, on her quest to better herself, is keen to see if this is still a place where anything goes, if it's changing, and if indulging in all this 'freedom' does anything for the community.

This comedy/drama was written, directed by and stars Jake Johnson in his feature length directorial debut.
It also stars Anna Kendrick, Natalie Morales, Mary Holland, Emily Hampshire, and Christopher Lloyd.
The plot revolves around Tommy (Johnson), a middle-aged man who gets invited to participate in a game where he stands a chance to win a million dollars on a dark web reality TV show.
The catch is he must survive for 30 days while a group of assassins called 'Hunters' from around the globe try to eliminate him.
