Cass gives it to Gar straight in Sunday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
He encourages a heartsore Gar to go to Los Angeles to visit Dearbhla.
"Time for an intervention," says Cass. "She's the love of your life! You've got to be out there with her!"
"Cass, it's not that simple," says Gar.
"It's as difficult as you choose it to be!" Cass replies.
