This Good Wife spinoff is no match for the original show, but it is an enjoyably light-hearted and old-fashioned whodunit, and Carrie Preston is super in the lead role of a quirky lawyer who’s a duck out of water in New York.
After the president of a luxury pre-war building falls off her balcony to her death, Elsbeth and Kaya are called to the scene to dig for a lead.
While there, they meet Joann, a high-powered real estate broker with huge clients and even greater secrets.

This is a look at American conservative Roger Stone (below) and his role as an adviser to Donald Trump during the latter's 2016 presidential campaign.
The programme also examines the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement, as well as the January 6 United States Capitol attack, which guided Trump's presidential period to an end point.
Cooking with the Stars, 9.00pm, Virgin Media One & UTV
Emma Willis and Tom Allen (below) return with season 4 of the celebrity cooking contest in which famous faces are mentored by world-class chefs as they compete in culinary cooking battles.
In the opening episode, Carol Vorderman, Abbey Clancy, Pasha Kovalev and Harry Pinero compete to deliver stand-out dinner party dishes and progress to the next round.

In Bristol, Scarlette and Stuart help single mum Natalie, who wants to transform her house into a colourful haven for herself and her daughter Freda.
To get on the property ladder, Natalie has bought the ultimate fixer-upper, but major tasks like a new roof and complete re-rendering of the house threaten to blow the budget.
Determined to save money, Scarlette takes Natalie to a kitchen manufacturer to demonstrate how to create a bespoke rainbow-theme kitchen on a budget, and they also revamp the existing fireplace for less than £60.
Stuart then helps Natalie settle on finishing design touches to fill the house with colour.
With a moving date from their rented house already set, the pressure is on to complete the renovation on time.

Coverage of day four in Paris starts on the early side, as the men's triathlon gets under way at 7.00 at Pont Alexandre III. It is, of course, an hour later in Paris.
There will also be rowing quarter-finals and semi-finals at the Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium, and swimming heats at La Defense Arena, along with hockey action as Ireland's men's facing a tough Pool B match against India at the Yves-du-Manoir Stadium from 12.15pm.

That’s folowed at 2pm by Paris Olympics 2024: Today, as Peter Collins presents further coverage.
Women's team artistic gymnastics, men's BMX freestyle and women's rugby sevens are among the events taking place.
The final of the gymnastics begins at the Bercy Arena at 5.15pm, and the qualifying event of the men's BMX freestyle takes place at La Concorde from 2.12pm, while the women's rugby sevens have reached the knockout stages at the Stade de France, culminating in the final at 6.45pm.
Then at 7.15pm, Paris Olympics 2024: Tonight covers the swimming finals at La Defense Arena, where a further three champions are set to be crowned, including in the men's 4x200m freestyle relay at 8.59pm.
The women's 100m backstroke final is at 7.57pm and the men's 800m freestyle is six minutes later, and there are semi-finals in a further four disciplines.
