Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I own an abundant number of animals ranging from cats, snakes, multiple types of fish, a turtle and alpacas, I wish for the day that I can quit my day job and just play music for a living, I don't really want to be rich. I just want to live comfortably.
How would you describe your music?
As our music is all original we have been compared to different styles of bands over the I'm set few years. Most people have said we are like a love child of Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chilli peppers, Bloodhound Gang and Rage Against the Machine. Personally, I love the style that we perform. We push the idea that you don't have to stick to one genre of music. Over the years we have implicated styles like rap, rock, metal, funk, traditional, hip hop and screamo to help keep our songs/sound interesting and fresh. It's like, have you ever gone to see a band play live and all their songs sound the same as the last song they perform. I wouldn't say we try avoiding this but we don't plan on becoming this either.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Each and every one of us in the band have our own inspirations and have different tastes when it comes to music. Hence why our sound tends to be really mashed together with a collection of different styles and sounds haha. As a band the big 4 would have to be Beastie Boys, Bloodhound Gang, Rage Against The Machine and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
I was 15/16 when I attend my first ever show. It was in the 3Arena. Paramore had come to Ireland and they were touring their new album Burry the Castle. I remember watching them being very sweaty from all the jumping around and covered in water/beer from people throwing their cups up in the air. It was the start of the hundreds of shows I had attended. From my own shows with The Jobseekerz to festivals and concerts.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Cricky (bass): Appetite For Destruction in Multisound, Cavan !
What's your favourite song right now?
I've been on a metal binge recently so maybe Needled 24/7 by Children of Bodom.
Favourite lyric of all time?
That's a tough one ...probably Nutshell by Alice in Chains.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Cemetery Gates by Pantera.
Where can people find your music/more information?
On our Instagram, Facebook and all music streaming sites Spotify, Deezer etc.
