Comedian Paul Whitehouse is set to star as the lovable grandad in Only Fools and Horses the Musical when it comes to Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre next year.
The Welsh actor and funnyman, who is best known for his roles in BBC sketch comedy series The Fast Show and for appearing alongside Harry Enfield in the shows Harry & Paul and Harry Enfield & Chums, is set to bring the much-loved character from the classic TV comedy about wheeler-dealer Del Boy Trotter and his family to the stage in July 2025.
Based on John Sullivan's iconic television show, the musical features material from the popular TV series, along with a script and original score written by John's son, Jim Sullivan.

With musical contributions from legendary pop-rock duo, Chas & Dave, theatre-goers can prepare to hear the beloved theme tune as they've never heard it before.
Only Fools and Horses the Musical will take to Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre for a limited one-week run from July 1-5, 2025. Tickets will go on sale this Friday.
Only Fools And Horses actor Patrick Murray has previously said he would "definitely" be up for reviving the BBC sitcom but worries that viewers are now too easily offended.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: "It would be lovely to do another one but I do worry we would be constrained because we can't take the mickey out of each other.
"Rodney was a plonker, but nowadays people would find calling each other 'plonkers' offensive.
"The woke thing has got a bit ridiculous. People with nothing better to do will write in saying they’ve been insulted," he said.
