Jamie Foxx has shared more details about his recent health scare and explained how the condition that left him hospitalised last year started with a bad headache before he "was gone for 20 days".
The 55-year-old Oscar-winner was hospitalised with a medical emergency on 11 April while filming his upcoming Netflix film Back In Action.
Speaking to fans outside a restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, Foxx said: "Look, April 11 last year, bad headache, asked my boy for an Advil…I was gone for 20 days."
He added: "I don't remember anything," before adding his family took him to two different doctors to get a diagnosis but didn't want to say "on camera" what the doctors had diagnosed was wrong with him.

In July 2023 Foxx revealed he "went to hell and back" for an unspecified health issue.
In an Instagram video, he disclosed how he was feeling, but did not address the reason for his hospital admission.
"First of all, I want to say thank you to everybody that's prayed, man, and sent me messages.
"I cannot even begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back.
"I went through something that I thought I would never, ever go through."
He continued, "I know a lot of people were waiting and wanting to hear updates but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that, man.
"I want you to see me laugh and having a good time, partying and cracking a joke, doing a movie (or) television show.
"I didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through."
Starring Foxx and Cameron Diaz, Back in Action is an upcoming Netflix Original action-comedy film directed by Horrible Bosses' Seth Gordon.
It is set for release on the streaming giant in November 2024.
