The success of a song and video created by a group of young rappers from Cork and Clare has continued to grow across the online world.
Last month, the track Found My Spark received over eight million views online in just two days as part of Cruinniú na nÓg, Europe's only national free day of creativity for young people.
The children from the Kabin Crew in Knocknaheeny, North Cork and the Lisdoonvarna Crew in Co Clare joined forces to record Found My Spark for the launch of the annual Cruinniú na nÓg, which will feature over 1,000 free activities on Saturday, 15 June.
Among the social media stars who have fallen for the charms of Found My Spark are the US-based dance and choreography duo Cost n' Mayor, who have over 7.2 million followers on TikTok.
"Who is teaching the children of Ireland to spit this kind of fire," they wrote.
Their praise was echoed by Jedward, who described the track as Ireland's new national anthem.
An initiative of Creative Ireland supported by RTÉ, Cruinniú na nÓg was launched on RTÉ's young people's news programme News2Day.
This year's festival line-up includes events for children and young people across the island of Ireland.
There will also be events for older teens, supported by the Night Time Economy Unit.
TG4 will host Amuigh 24, an outdoor family festival of young creativity as Gaeilge, in the heart of Connemara as part of Cruinniú na nÓg.
