Paul confronts Pete in Thursday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Paul is angry that Pete has been spreading rumours about him financially advising Dolores.
In McCoy's on Thursday, things come to a head.
"What did you just call me?" says Pete.
"An addict!" Paul replies. "A pill popper, a junkie! You take your pick!"
With that Pete pushes Paul, Paul pushes him back and Rafferty is forced to intervene.
