Watch: Bambie Thug crowd surfs in Malmö club

Ireland's Eurovision Song Contest finalist Bambie Thug celebrated securing their place in Saturday's Grand Final with some crowd surfing in Malmö last night.

Footage from a city club shows the Cork singer lip-syncing to their song Doomsday Blue before being lowered into the crowd.

Speaking on the Ray D'Arcy Show on RTÉ Radio 1 on Wednesday about their crowd surfing antics, Bambi said, "I'm a rocker at heart!"

Ireland’s entrant was the ninth song to be announced as a finalist last night during the song contest’s first semi-final.

Bambie is confident of polling highly on Saturday night.

"Everything can change on the night but I’m very, very confident and there are a lot of viewers on final night so I think we’ll do well," the singer told RTÉ Radio this afternoon.

Meanwhile, residents of their hometown of Macroom have expressed their pride and support after Bambie made it to the final.
