Rod Stewart planning to spend more time in Ireland

Rod Stewart has told Miriam O'Callaghan on Sunday with Miriam on RTÉ Radio 1 that he and his wife Penny Lancaster are planning to spend more time in Ireland.

The legendary singer joined the RTÉ Radio 1 show ahead of his Dublin concert next month.

"I can't wait to get back to Dublin," he told the host. "Do you know I have an apartment there now?"

"So I hear - near the Aviva [Stadium]," O'Callaghan replied.

"Just up the road," said Stewart.

"Would you spend more time here?" asked O'Callaghan.

"We intend to," said Stewart. "It's decorated now... I think we're coming over in the first week of May."

Stewart also told O'Callaghan he is excited about singing the ballad Grace at his Dublin show.

"I'll even do it twice if requested," he added.
