Carol turns detective in Thursday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
After the discovery of human remains in the community garden, Carol tells Damien her theory - that Carol's kidnapper Zak was involved.
"Tommy was only telling me the other day himself and Zak were up at the site, walking around, making plans..." she says.
"Carol, do you know what? Just stop right there," says an exasperated Damien.
"A row that went wrong..." Carol continues. "Or some rat that was going to go to the Guards, shout their mouth off."
Later, Carol approaches Ronan.
"Ronan, have you got a minute?" she says to the young garda.
"This is pure revenge!" Damien protests.
"Yeah, that's right," replies Carol.
