Veteran rockers Phish have announced the release of their new album Evolve ahead of their upcoming residency at Las Vegas' Sphere.
The Everything's Right band surprised fans by dropping Evolve just days before their residency starts at Las Vegas' Sphere concert venue, where U2 recently completed their residency.
Speaking about their decision to play Sphere, The You Enjoy Myself band leader Trey Anastasio said: "From the moment we first heard about Sphere and its potential, we've been dreaming up ways to bring our show to this breathtaking canvas.
"We’re thrilled to present this completely unique experience to Phish fans."
This is the psychedelic rock band who picked up from where Grateful Dead left off's,16th studio album in four years since the release of Sigma Oasis back in 2020.
Phish kick off their four weeks of Sphere dates on April 18 before launching their US summer tour.
Phish last played two concerts in Ireland in 1997 at the SFX.
