Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I've been singing since the age of ten and started writing music when I started college in 2016. I have previously released music as part of the duo The Best Part and decided a year and a half ago to pursue a solo career (I have so much unreleased music with TBP that I will be releasing alongside my solo venture).

I have a love for film and filmmaking and would love to learn more videography and incorporate that into my music more if I wasn’t pursuing music I’d most likely be pursuing wildlife/adventure videography and travelling the world in a camper van. Maybe I can try both?!
How would you describe your music?
Nostalgic storytelling.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Maggie Rogers has been a big inspiration for me and was the first artist who really made me fall in love with songwriting. Her album, Heard It In A Past Life, was the album I had on repeat when I started out as a songwriter and I still draw inspiration from it now. I also love Lizzy McAlpine and take a lot of influence from her work. Dermot Kennedy is also a big inspiration for me, the way he shows up and shares his art in the music industry is so authentic and genuine and that’s the type of artist that I aspire to be.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
The first big gig I ever went to was probably Paramore in the 3Arena, I was a massive fan of Paramore when I was a teenager and I can remember waiting outside the venue almost all day so that we could stand at the barrier.
What was the first record you ever bought?
It must have been Fearless by Taylor Swift, I’ve always been someone who finds an album they like and plays it on repeat for months and this album was probably the start of that for me, I started singing when I was ten and Taylor Swift was one of my very first influences.
What’s your favourite song right now?
Innocence and Sadness by Dermot Kennedy. Honestly, he’s just one of those artists whose voice speaks to my soul. I feel like people know his hits but not everyone takes the time to sit down with his albums and listen to his lyrics, they’re so beautifully real and poetic and this song really speaks to me.
Favourite lyric of all time?
Ooh, this is a tough one but seeing as I have Innocence and Sadness in mind I’ll go with "Return me safely, turn me homeward at the right time. Heavy minutes, boy, steady rhythm, joy" - Dermot Kennedy
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Drops Of Jupiter by Train - it sort of has everything you need.
