The date of the 2025 Oscars ceremony has been announced.
The 97th Academy Awards will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday 2 March 2025.
The news was announced by Oscars organiser the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Wednesday evening.

The shortlists in a number of categories will be revealed on Tuesday 17 December 2024.
The Oscar nominees will be announced on Friday 17 January 2025.
