Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have announced that they are divorcing after almost of 14 years of marriage.
The acting duo, best known for their comedic film roles, both posted the same statement to their Instagram stories, along with a photo of them in tennis gear.
"After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down," the statement said.
It continued, "In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.
"We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family's wish for privacy."
Baron Cohen has been under fire in recent weeks after actress and former co-star Rebel Wilson dedicated a chapter in her upcoming memoir to him.
In the book, she accuses the British comedy star of incidents of inappropriate behaviour when she played his on-screen girlfriend in 2016 spy comedy Grimsby.
Baron Cohen responded to the accusations via a statement, saying that the claims are "demonstrably false" and can be "directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts."
Baron Cohen and Australian actress Fisher married in 2010 and have three children together.
