Colin Farrell stars in Sugar, the Chicago franchise returns with a threesome of shows, Aisling Bea joins the cast of Avoidance, while the Girls in Green take on France in Metz . . .

Pick of the Day

Sugar, Apple TV+

Colin Farrell stars in what Apple has been describing as a 'genre-bending' take on the typical detective story with its classic setting in Los Angeles, the home of the original literary gumshoes.

If it’s sci-fi meets pulp fiction (that's the Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammet kind), Blade Runner immediately springs to mind.

The series follows the titular detective John Sugar (Farrell) as he goes on the hunt for the missing granddaughter of a big-time Hollywood producer.

And Andrew was a very naughty boy.
