The band consist of Chris Craig, Shawn, Neil McEvoy and Darren Flynn and have played support to Airbourne, Poets of the Fall and Adam & The Metal Hawks.

They released two five-track EPs in 2021 and 2022 and three singles in 2023.

Speaking about their new track they say, "Lyrically, Soothe is about the allure of medicating yourself to the world every day, or every now and then, be it for good or bad.

"Almost cynically . . . through whatever medium you choose. The music is so driving, it's just a 'fuck it' kinda song to me.

"I enjoyed getting the lyrics together for this more than any other song we've ever done and that's not hyperbole. It was like having a conversation with the little brat that still lives inside of me somewhere."

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I'm fascinated by paranormal stuff. I tend to overthink things to death. I've never understood the amount of hate Bounty chocolate gets in Celebration boxes.

How would you describe your music?

I guess it's just honest rock `n’ roll. Loud, guitar driven, raw, warts n' all type stuff.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Collectively, a lot of late 80s/early 90s stuff. Guns N’ Roses, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Mudhoney, Nirvana, Skid Row . . . .the list can go on.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

Velvet Revolver in The Point, 12 January 2005. It was f***ing unreal. I lost a New Rock boot at it. Not sure how, or when exactly, but that kinda sums it up.

What was the first record you ever bought?

From my own money? Appetite For Destruction.

What’s your favourite song right now?

I really like The Psychs' new song Sweet Tooth Outlaw. It's great. Alongside that, Steiner's song Fine Tilth. I've been listening to those guys a lot lately too.

Favourite lyric of all time?

Oh man, too hard. I love 'When you're talking to yourself, and nobody's home' - Estranged, G N’ R. It's so simple but has such an impact. As an opening lyric on a song as well, it kind of grips you and sets you up for a journey.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Probably Wait Here by Mick Flannery. The end of that song is what the apocalypse sounds like in my mind. It's soothing. Chaotic. I love how heavy it sounds without being heavy at all. And the lyrics are genius.
