Hollywood actor Michael C Hall's band to play at Beyond The Pale Festival

Dexter and Six Feet Under star Michael C. Hall and his band Princess Goes will play the Beyond The Pale Festival at Glendalough Estate, Co Wicklow this June.

Formerly known as Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum, the US band is led by musician Hall, who has also starred in Lazarus, alongside keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen (Blondie, Cyndi Lauper) and drummer Peter Yanowitz (The Wallflowers, Morningwood).

The band have released a self-titled EP and a well-received debut album, Thanks for Coming.

Beyond The Pale Festival also features art, wellbeing, food and family events and takes place between 21 to 23 of June..

This year's line-up so far also includes Jungle, Jessie Ware, 2ManyDJs, Romy and Richie Hawtin, while Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh will also make an appearance.

Also on the bill are Canada’s Alvvays, The Sugarhill Gang, Courtney Barnett, and a first ever Irish festival appearance for Thievery Corporation.

The Scratch

Irish acts include The Scratch, Gilla Band, John Francis Flynn, DJ David Holmes, Rachael Lavelle, Ailbhe Reddy, 49th & Main, Elaine Mai & Mai Kai and The Redneck Manifesto.

Three-day tickets start at €229, and the festival offers on-site camping, luxury glamping, as well as on-site parking.
