Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I’m a ciotóg (which is a pain because I can never find guitars). I’m originally from Roscommon. My chicken fillet roll order is only chicken and red sauce.
How would you describe your music?
Like a vape, you didn’t know you wanted it but now you’ve had a taste you’re eager for more
Who are your musical inspirations?
There’s too many, but at the moment - Dermot Kennedy, Sam Fender and Holly Humberstone
What was the first gig you ever went to?
It was actually Westlife, with my friend Amy and our mums. Haha!
What was the first record you ever bought?
Damn, this is tricky! But I’m guessing it was a NOW CD that I popped into my Walkman back in the day
What’s your favourite song right now?
Longshot, of course….
Favourite lyric of all time?
I’m actually obsessed with the lyrics from Sprinter by Dave & Central Cee! I think it’s so cleverly written and the flow is sick.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Three Little Birds by Bob Marley! Such a classic and it gets me in such a happy mood each time I hear it!
Where can people find your music/more information?
My linktree, @arlene__music or ARLENE on Spotify/Apple music or any streaming platform.
