Podcasters and 2fm presenting duo The 2 Johnnies have released their latest single, St. Patrick Drove a Honda Civic.
The single is the first track from their new album.
Directed by Shane Seranno, the video sees the Tipperary musicians telling a pair of hapless Irish-American tourists a fictional story of St. Patrick, including how he was a lover of chicken fillet rolls, he taught Larry Mullen the drums and he drove a Honda Civic.
The video was filmed in Dolan's in Limerick and on a closed set in Co. Clare.
The video features "St. Patrick" recklessly driving the duo around a carpark in a Honda Civic, with the Johnnies revealing that the Gardaí were called twice following calls from concerned citizens who believed that a crime was being committed.
Johnny Smacks recalls, "I was beat into the seat with my eyes closed the whole time - it was worse than the worst rollercoaster or the taxi home when you've the spinnies after a feed of sambuca!"
