Rafferty's problems pile up in tonight's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
The drama begins when Hayley tells Liam that Rafferty dropped the youth cafe from the development "to get Carol out of a hole".
"Type of thing you only do for a lover," she adds. "She didn't tell you then?"
Later, Liam presents Rafferty with documents in The Station.
"You might want to look at these first," he says. "The agreement to the youth cafe - signed, sealed but not delivered by you."
Behind the bar, Carol smiles.
