He has supported afrobeat giant Burna Boy at the 3Arena in Dublin and played Longitude, Trinity Ball and All Together Now, before being named an RTÉ 2FM rising artist.
In 2021 he established management company and record label, PlantainSound, which features acts such as F3miii, Sophie Jane, and B4bzy.
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I'd love to do a song with Lionel Richie one day. I have a slight obsession with the Aston Martin DBX (No I don’t own one… yet). Learning how to play the sax.
How would you describe your music?
Simply put, it’s a vibe. More technically put it often sounds like an alternative version of Afrobeats/hip-hop/RnB blended together.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Kool and the Gang, Drake, Stevie Wonder, Septa, Fela Kuta.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
J.Cole in the 3Arena, changed my life.
What was the first record you ever bought?
J Hus - Common Sense.
