Christopher Nolan's epic biopic Oppenheimer has swept the Oscars this year, winning a total of seven awards.
The film about J Robert Oppenheimer, the theoretical physicist described as the father of the atomic bomb, was named best picture while Irish star Cillian Murphy won Best Actor and Nolan took the Best Director award.
Emma Stone was named Best Actress for the surreal comedy Poor Things which was produced by the Dublin-based company Element Pictures.
The Yorgos Lanthimos-directed film picked up a further three gongs - for Makeup and Hairstyling, Production Design, and Costume Design - a record haul for an Irish-produced film.
Oppenheimer's Robert Downey Jr and The Holdovers star Da'Vine Joy Randolph won the Best Actor and Best Actress in a Supporting Role awards.
The 96th Academy Awards will be broadcast on RTÉ2 on Monday from 9:35pm. The ceremony will be available on demand on the RTÉ Player.
