As Dancing with the Stars counts down to tonight's semi-final, and with one couple only hours away from missing out on next weekend's grand finale, head judge Loraine Barry has shared a what-might-have-been from her professional dancing career.
With the theme of tonight's semi-final show Fright Night, RTÉ Entertainment asked Barry to recall the most frightening performance of her title-laden years on the dancefloor.
"I don't know if I was ever frightened, to be honest with you. I can honestly say that," she replied.
"But certainly, when you asked me the question, the one performance that came up in my mind was a world championship that I actually lost - yeah, I did!

"Now, they told me - 'they' - they said, 'Don't go, don't go - it's not going to go your way!' and things like that. And I remember saying, 'Well if I don't go, I've no chance'.
"That was the one that I went [to] with a lot of gust inside of me to get out there and really perform. So, it wasn't that I was frightened, but I certainly knew there was a lot of negative energy around - and I did lose by one point."
But the wisdom gained from that experience is also her advice to the remaining Dancing with the Stars celebrities: "Believe in yourself. Stand tall. Go out there and be counted."
And to the fans at home who could soon be saying goodbye to their favourite couple, Barry had this to say: "Don't sit on the sofa complaining when you see who's in the dance-off - pick up the phone and vote!"
