Liam Cunningham is among the stars of 3 Body Problem, the imminent Netflix sci-fi series, which reunites the Dublin actor with Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss.
Previewing the show with an epic final trailer, Netflix said: "From multiple Emmy Award-winning creators David Benioff and DB Weiss (Game of Thrones), and Emmy-nominated Alexander Woo (The Terror: Infamy, True Blood), comes 3 Body Problem, a thrilling story that redefines sci-fi drama with its layered mysteries and genre-bending high stakes."
"A young woman's fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time to a group of brilliant scientists in the present day," the streaming giant teased.
"As the laws of nature unravel before their eyes, five former colleagues reunite to confront the greatest threat in humanity's history."
The series is based on the best-selling trilogy The Three-Body Problem by author Liu Cixin, and the cast also includes Benedict Wong, Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, Eiza González, Alex Sharp, John Bradley, Zine Tseng, Saamer Usmani, Rosalind Chao, Marlo Kelly, Sea Shimooka, and Jonathan Pryce.
3 Body Problem premieres on Netflix on Thursday 21 March.
