Dancing with the Stars is pulling out all the stops to make this Sunday's semi-final a classic.
Announcing details of Sunday's show, Dancing with the Stars said: "Get ready for some ghoulish moves and spooky grooves as Fright Night comes to Dancing with the Stars. The semi-final is set to be a truly terrifying time on the dance floor as the five remaining couples each perform monster routines in the show's first-ever Fright Night.
"Following their leaderboard-topping Charleston on last Sunday's show, TV and radio presenter Laura Fox and her professional partner Denys Samson will dance an American Smooth to Monster Mash by Bobby Pickett in a Frankenstein-inspired routine.
"After their shock dance-off appearance last week, drag superstar Blu Hydrangea and her partner Simone Arena will be hoping to avoid it a second time round by performing a witch-themed Charleston to The Cartoons' hit Witch Doctor.

"David Whelan and his dance partner Salome Chachua will be hoping to keep their top-scoring momentum up in the semi-final with a Salsa to Wrapped Up by Olly Murs, which will see the couple become dancing mummies.

"Paralympian Jason Smyth and his dance partner Karen Byrne will serve up a creepy clown-styled Tango to Disturbia by Rihanna.

"Former jockey Davy Russell and his partner Kylee Vincent will be looking to impress the judges with a gothic Viennese Waltz to Never Tear Us Apart by INXS. Their routine will see them become scary skeletons.

"The five couples will then take part in a Scare-a-thon - a dance marathon where, for the first time, the semi-finalists take to the floor at the same time! They will battle it out to Dead Ringer for Love by Meat Loaf and Cher. In a Fright Night twist, the couples will not only be asked to leave the floor one by one by the judges but will also be escorted off the floor by a ghoulish Grim Reaper as soon as their time is up!
"The two couples with the lowest combined points from the judges' and public vote will go head-to-head in the final dreaded dance-off of the season where one will miss out on a place in the Grand Final.
"If that wasn't enough excitement for one evening, Fright Night will see the return of last season's runner-up, Brooke Scullion. Brooke, who represented Ireland in the Eurovision in 2022, will exclusively perform her brand new single, Love Bomb."
