Katja Mia became the sixth celebrity to be eliminated from this season's run of Dancing with the Stars.
Following the public vote, the dance-off saw Katja Mia and her pro dancer Ervinas Merfeldas take on Blu Hydrangea and Simone Arena with the judges choosing to save Blu for next week's semi-final.
Arthur was the first judge to call it, saying "the couple I want to save tonight is Blu and Simone."
Brian was next and he also saved Blu and Simone, meaning Katja Mia and Ervinas Merfeldas were eliminated.

After her elimination, Katja said: "I'd like to thank everyone involved with Dancing with the Stars. It’s been the most incredible journey. I think I surprised myself by how long I lasted and it’s a memory I won’t forget."
Her pro dance partner Ervinas Merfeldas was full of praise for the TV presenter. "She’s literally the definition of the perfect student," he insisted. "She takes everything on board, gives it a hundred per cent
"Hesitates at the start - but then just goes out and smashes it and surprises, not just me and herself, but everybody watching it at home."
Sunday's show began with Jason Smyth and Karen Byrne performing a Jive to Runaway by OneRepublic.

Loraine Barry said: "Great steps, the flicks, the kicks - it was all very good."
Arthur Gourounlian said: "You gave the performance I knew you had in you."
Brian Redmond said: "The energy was absolutely brilliant all the way. A really good jive. Well done"
Jason and Karen scored 23 from the judges.
Second to the dance floor were 2FM presenter Laura Fox and her pro partner Denys Samson doing a Charleston to Do Your Thing by Basement Jaxx.
Arthur said: "Foxy, you really did your thing! I think you are the Charlston queen!"

Brian said: "Some things just go together - and Laura Fox and the Charleston are another wonderful combination."
Loraine said: "You said it yourself: you wanted to have fun. But I can really see the hard work."
Laura and Denys scored a perfect 30 from the judges.
The third couple to dance tonight were drag queen Blu Hydrangea and Simone Arena doing a Quickstep to Texas Hold 'Em by Beyoncé.
Brian said: "You danced around the room so beautifully. Blue, that was gorgeous."

Loraine said: "I really have to talk about your line. All the way to the finger. It was perfection."
Arthur said: "You took us all to Dollywood tonight. You have a star quality that is priceless."
Blu and Simone scored the second perfect 30 from the judges.
The fourth couple to dance were former jockey Davy Russell and Kylee Vincent dancing a Cha Cha Cha Spicy Margarita by Michael Bublé & Jason DeRulo.
Loraine said: "The legs were a little bit stiff . . . it wasn’t quite fluid. But I know you gave it your all."

Arthur said: "Davy, there is no stopping you! But I agree your were off on occasions - but who cares?"
Brian said: "The cha Cha Cha Cha is really difficult. But there’s one thing you can do and that’s put on a show."
Davy and Kylee scored 21 from the judges.
The fifth celebrity to take to the dancefloor for episode 9 was Wild Youth singer David Whelan and Salome Chachua performing a Paso Doble to Whole Lotta Love Led Zepplin.
Arthur said: "David, I have a Whole Lotta Love for you! I loved it and I’m so glad you did a Paso Doble. You have dance flowing in your DNA."

Brian said: "90% of it I was really thrilled with, there was the odd moment when you just needed to balance a little earlier. But what a Paso Doble!"
Loraine said: "It’s fabulous what you’re doing!"
David and Salome scored 28 from the judges.
The sixth couple to perform were Virgin Media presenter Katja Mia and her pro dancer Ervinas Merfeldas dancing a Salsa to Levitating by Mandinga.
Brian said: "The only way to come back from a dance-off is to come out fighting and that’s what you did tonight."

Loraine said: "There is only one little thing - those feet. But you’re nearly there. Keep going. That was stunning tonight."
Arthur said: "You were levitating with that Salsa tonight. The way you move your body is a-ma-zing! It was a Salsa masterpiece."
Katja and Ervinas scored 28 from the judges.
In a Dancing with the Stars first the two presenters Jennifer Zamparelli and Doireann Garrihy became Team Captains for the night and led their two opposing dance troupes.
TEAM A, Jen’s Party Animals saw Team Captain Jennifer paired with Robert Rowiński– the team consisted of Laura and Denys, David and Salome, Jason and Karen dancing a Charleston to A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got) by Fergie, Q-Tip & GoonRock.
Loraine said: "That was incredible! It was so cohesive and everybody was doing something all the time. Well done to you all."

Arthur said: "Jennifer Zamparelli, the way you were walking in the middle, you were like an angel."
Brian said: "Party animals. Some body has to get the party started and that was Jason. And Jen, you were great!"
Jen’s Party Animals scored 29 from the judges.
TEAM B, Doireann’s Dancing Divas saw Team Captain: Doireann paired with Montel Hewson – the team consisted of Blu and Simone, Katja and Ervinas, Davy and Kylee dancing a Salsa to Electric Energy by Ariana DeBose, Boy George & Nile Rogers.
Arthur said: " I love how you were working those lassos! I couldn’t take my eyes off you."
Brian said: "That was absolutely brilliant. You did a great job. But the biggest diva out there was Davy Russell. What a job man. Well done."
Loraine said: "Katja! The vibe, the energy. You were spreading it like love around your team and everyone else. Well Done."

Jen’s Party Animals scored 28 from the judges.
When all the votes were added up, Laura and Denys topped the table with 59, Blu and Simone were second with 58, third were David and Salome, Kate and Ervin’s were fourth with 56, Jason and Karen were fifth on 52, while Davy and Kylie were sixth on 49.
But the public vote would decide what was going to happen next!
When the results were in, the first couple through to next week’s semi-final is Davy and Kylee. They were followed by Laura and Denys, then David and Salome.
Jason and Karen were the last to go through, meaning a dance-off between Katie and Ervinas, Blu and Simone had to dance again to see who makes next week’s semi-final.
The glitz, glamour, and nail-biting competition will all unfold as the series continues on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player for the semi-final with a "Fright Night" theme next Sunday, March 10th at 6.30pm.
