Queen: The Legendary 1975 Concert, 9.00pm, BBC Four

This opens a night of shows dedicated to legendary UK group Queen.

On Christmas Eve 1975, Queen crowned a glorious year with a special concert at London's Hammersmith Odeon. The show on the final night of their triumphant UK tour was broadcast live on BBC TV and radio, and has become a legendary event in Queen's history.

Featuring stunning renditions of early hits Keep Yourself Alive, Liar and Now I'm Here alongside Brian May's epic guitar showcase Brighton Rock.

There’s a rip-roaring version of the then new Bohemian Rhapsody and the crowd-pleasing Rock 'n' Roll Medley, so this gig shows Queen at an early peak and poised to conquer the world.

Followed at 10.05pm by the Freddie Mercury (below) edition of A Life in Ten Pictures.

The Queen front man's image is famous around the world. But just a handful of iconic shots and private snaps, reveal a new story: an extraordinary life through a unique lens.

Then at 11.05pm there's Queen at the BBC -a trip through the archives that serves up an hour of killer Queen material, featuring some of the band's greatest musical moments ever delivered on the telly.

Finally, at 12.05am there's The Story of Bohemian Rhapsody.

This is the story behind the epic Queen single, featuring Brian May and Roger Taylor explaining how the song came together plus interviews with friends and fellow musicians.

New or Returning Shows

Eurovision 2024: Graham Meets Olly, 10.40pm, BBC One

In place of the usual Graham Norton Show, Graham chats to Olly Alexander (below), who’s preparing to fulfil one of his biggest life ambitions - representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Ahead of the grand final in May, Olly joins fellow Eurovision lover and commentator Graham Norton to talk candidly about competing in Sweden.

As an extra treat for Eurovision fans, Olly reveals the first full play of the music video on TV for his Eurovision song Dizzy.

Followed at 10.55pm by 2024, The Big Eurovision Party.

This special reveals the excitement and pressure felt by Olly Alexander, the artist representing the United Kingdom in Sweden on the 50th anniversary of Abba’s victory in Brighton in 1974.

Peter Collins presents live coverage of the Premier Division meeting of contenders Derry City and St Patrick’s Athletic at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium (KO 7.45pm).

After just two rounds of games, not one side has a 100%, which shows how competitive this year's Premier Division race will be.

Saint Pat's started off with a win at newly-promoted Galway United, but the lost at home to Dublin rivals Bohemians.

The Candystripes are unbeaten so far, with a 2-1 home win against Drogheda United followed by a scoreless draw away to Sligo Rovers last Saturday.

Michael Mann’s latest feature follows Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari during the summer of 1957.

Behind the spectacle and danger of Formula 1, ex-racer Enzo Ferrari is in crisis.

Bankruptcy stalks the company he and his wife, Laura, built from nothing ten years earlier. Their volatile marriage is further fractured with grief for their only son.

Ferrari struggles with the acknowledgement of another with Lina Lardi. His drivers’ passion to win pushes them to the edge. All their fates converge in one race, the treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy, the iconic Mille Miglia.

As well as Adam Driver, the cast includes Penelope Cruz as Laura Ferrari, Shailene Woodley as Lina Lardi, Patrick Dempsey as Piero Taruffi, and Jack O’Connell as Peter Collins.

The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, Apple TV+

Noel Fielding stars as legendary English highwayman Dick Turpin, who sets out on a journey of wildly absurd escapades when he’s made the reluctant leader of a band of outlaws.

Once in charge, he's tasked with outwitting corrupt lawman and self-appointed thief-taker Jonathan Wilde (played by Hugh Bonneville).

In this irreverent retelling set in the 18th century, Turpin is the most famous but least likely of highway robbers, whose success is defined mostly by his charm, showmanship and great hair.

Together with his gang of lovable rogues, Turpin rides the highs and lows of his new endeavors, including a brush with celebrity, all whilst trying to escape the clutches of the thief-taker.

Starring alongside Fielding and Bonneville are Ellie White, Marc Wootton, Duayne Boachie, Tamsin Greig, Asim Chaudhry and Dolly Wells.

Spaceman, Netflix

Six months into a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system, an astronaut, Jakub (Adam Sandler), realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth.

Desperate to fix things with his wife, Lenka (Carey Mulligan), he is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time he finds hiding in the bowels of his ship.

Hanuš (voiced by Paul Dano) works with Jakub to make sense of what went wrong before it is too late.

Directed by Johan Renck and based on the novel Spaceman of Bohemia, the sci-fi film also stars Kunal Nayyar, Lena Olin, and Isabella Rossellini.

The Red Door, Channel 4

The Italian crime drama about Leonardo Cagliostro, a detective who solves cases from beyond the grave, returns for a third and final season.

During a blackout Cagliostro witnesses a car accident in which a person he knows dies. In order to find out the truth, the commissioner has to deal with Vanessa again.

This time around in Trieste (where the show is set), a blackout causes chaos and a car accident changes clairvoyant Vanessa – who is the only living person who can see Cagliostro.
