Match of the Day Live: The FA Cup, 7.30pm, BBC One

It’s Blackburn Rovers v Newcastle United (KO 7.45pm) as Gary Lineker (below) is joined by Alan Shearer to present coverage of the fifth-round match at Ewood Park.

Blackburn already have two home wins to their name in this season's competition, having comfortably beaten Cambridge United and Wrexham.

But they face a much sterner test against Newcastle, despite the visitors inconsistent form in the Premier League this term.

The last FA Cup meeting between the sides came in the third round in 2019, when Rovers held Newcastle to a draw, before losing the Ewood Park replay on a 4-2 scoreline.

With commentary by Guy Mowbray.
