Pick of the Day
Live Six Nations Rugby Union, 1.30pm, RTÉ2
Streaming on RTÉ Player
The Ireland rugby team continues their Six Nations assault with a game against Wales (Kick-off 2.15pm).
Jacqui Hurley (below) is joined by Jamie Heaslip, Jerry Flannery and Stephen Ferris for live coverage of the game from the Aviva Stadium.
These teams met in the opening round of the 2023 campaign, when the Irish scored four tries in a 34-10 victory that soured the return of Warren Gatland in charge of the Welsh team.
That also represented the first Six Nations victory for Ireland in Cardiff in 10 years, and provided the perfect platform for what would go on to be their fourth Grand Slam in tournament history.
Which is something they're aiming to repeat this year.

Some more Scandi drama to get your teeth into on a Saturday night. This one’s a tasty Danish.
Fresh out of training and wanting to make a difference, new guard Sammi arrives at one of Denmark's older prisons, where he finds that stronger inmates dominate the weak, and guards are too understaffed or indifferent, to reassert their control.
Not knowing who to trust, Sammi finds a soulmate in Miriam, who wants to go by the book, but the outlook is bleak when the governor orders a crackdown to restore discipline.
Episode two follows at 10pm. Under pressure to clean up the prison before the visit of the inspectors, several raids of the sections lead to a breakdown in the balance of power between the dominant gangs.

Another seismic showdown between the two oldest rivals in international rugby is anticipated as Scotland seeks a fourth win in a row against England for the first time since 1972.

That followed on from Finn Russell’s late winning penalty at Murrayfield in 2022 and a first Scotland triumph at Twickenham for 38 years in 2021.
