The Frasier reboot has been renewed for a second season following the success of the show's return last year.
Kelsey Grammer reprised his iconic role as psychiatrist Dr Frasier Crane when the US streaming service Paramount+ picked up the sitcom in 2023. The show originally aired from 1993 to 2004.
Paramount Executive Vice President of Programming Jeff Grossman said while announcing the second series: "Kelsey made a triumphant return as one of the most iconic and beloved characters on television.
"The new series introduced Frasier to a whole new generation while reminding fans of Kelsey's truly timeless portrayal of Dr. Crane. We're so excited to see what the creative team and superb cast serve up for season season."
The character had originally appeared on the American sitcom Cheers and in 1993, Frasier had his own spin-off Seattle-based show. It also starred Jane Leeves as Daphne Moon, David Hyde Pierce as Dr Niles Crane and Peri Gilpin as Roz Doyle.

Frasier's son Freddy, who was often mentioned in the original series, has been recast in the Paramount+ show with Deception star and British actor Jack Cutmore-Scott.
A new character called Olivia, played by Toks Olagundoye, who is Alan's colleague and head of the university’s psychology department, also features.

69-year-old Grammer said: "Frasier is a love story, and I am very happy we will be allowed to continue it.
"I'm delighted that our partners at CBS Studios and Paramount+ are on board for another season, and I can't wait for the fans to see what we have in store!"
Last year, Kelsey told Entertainment Tonight of his on-screen counterpart: "He is not the same guy anymore. He is a little wiser, he may actually even be a little funnier, willing to laugh at himself. A little more self-aware, and he has a new mission in life.
"The audience really loved the previous collection of characters, and I can't wait for them to fall in love with this bunch. They're going to see some wonderful things. Things they did not expect."
