Irish actors including Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Alison Oliver, and honorary Irishwoman Ayo Edebiri, were out in force at the 2024 BAFTAs and the subsequent afterparties.
Edebiri, beloved for her role as sous chef Sydney Adamu in the comedy-drama series The Bear, may have been born and bred in Boston, but after she made a joke on the red carpet last year that she starred in The Banshees of Inisherin as the stubborn donkey Jenny, the Golden Globe and Emmy-award winning actress has been celebrated as one of our own.
It's clear she relished the opportunity to reunite with some of her fellow Irish stars on the awards circuit, with photos from the BAFTA film awards dinner showing her laughing alongside All of Us Strangers stars Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal and Saltburn actress Alison Oliver.

The 28-year-old actress and comedian is next set to star in the A24 horror film Opus alongside John Malkovich and in James L. Brooks's comedy film Ella McCay alongside Woody Harrelson and Jamie Lee Curtis.
However, Irish fans will be hopeful that Edebiri will make it to her honorary homeland to film a project very soon.

Meanwhile, Mescal and Scott posed for a series of adorable photos at Netflix's BAFTAs afterparty on Sunday evening.
The All Of Us Strangers co-stars smiled widely for the cameras as they cuddled up for photos, with Mescal throwing an arm over Scott's shoulder and cupping his chin.

The endearing duo also snapped a photo with Emma Stone, the Best Actress winner for her work on Element Pictures' Poor Things.
