New to Stream

Dangerous Waters, Sky Cinema & NOW

This looks like it could be fun - once you don't take it seriously.

Odeya Rush, Eric Dane, Saffron Burrows, Ray Liotta, Sala Baker star in director John Barr’s pretty daft thriller.

A sailing adventure spirals out of control in this tightly wound-survival thriller. 19-year-old Rose (Rush) lives a tough, small-town life in Florida with her single mother Alma (Burrows).

Their luck seems to take a turn when Alma's new businessman boyfriend, Derek (Dane), whisks them away on a sailing adventure to Bermuda.

While at sea, Derek's 'business’ is revealed to be less than legitimate when their boat is attacked by savage villains, set on fire, and Alma is viciously killed.

Distraught and persecuted by Derek and The Captain (Liotta), Rose finds a primal instinct for survival and a need for vengeance.

She will not stop until those responsible for her mother's murder are dead.

Saturday Cinema

The Revenant, 9.30pm, RTÉ2

Against all odds, the wounded man survives his injuries and embarks on a gruelling quest for revenge that takes him through a harsh landscape.

Family Flick

Here's a tepid-but-passable animated comedy sequel, with the voices of Alec Baldwin, James Marsden and Ariana Greenblatt.
