London-based singer, rapper and producer Miso Extra is among the acts playing new music showcase Borderline at Dublin's Workman's Club on 15 and 16 February. We asked her the BIG questions . . .

The mini festival will highlight fifteen emerging talents from both international and Irish scenes, with Miso Extra appearing on 16 February.

Born in Hong Kong to a British father and Japanese mother, Miso Extra moved to Japan when she was a child and later relocated to the UK.

Growing up, she learnt how to play the violin and loved to sing. Her musical influences include J Dilla, the late MF DOOM, Daft Punk and Kelis. Aside from music, anime inspired the artist, and these references have been woven into her work today.
