Gillian Anderson portrays journalist Emily Maitlis and Rufus Sewell portrays Prince Andrew in Scoop, the upcoming Netflix film about the British royal's infamous 2019 interview with BBC's Newsnight.
The cast of Scoop also includes Keeley Hawes as Amanda Thirsk, the former Private Secretary to Prince Andrew; and Billie Piper as Sam McAlister, the Newsnight producer who secured the interview and whose memoir, Scoops: Behind the Scenes of the BBC's Most Shocking Interviews, is the basis for the film.
Scoop premieres on Netflix on Friday 5 April.
It is directed by Philip Martin (The Crown), and McAlister's book has been adapted by Peter Moffat (The Night Of, Silk).
Releasing the teaser for Scoop, Netflix said: "Inspired by real events, Scoop is the inside account of the tenacious journalism that landed an earthshattering interview - Prince Andrew's infamous BBC Newsnight appearance.
"From the tension of producer Sam McAlister's high-stakes negotiations with Buckingham Palace, all the way to Emily Maitlis' jaw-dropping, forensic showdown with the prince, Scoop takes us inside the story, with the women who would stop at nothing to get it.
"To get an interview this big, you have to be bold."
Prince Andrew stepped down from public life after being criticised for showing a lack of empathy towards paedophile Jeffrey Epstein's victims and displaying a lack of remorse over his friendship with the financier during his Newsnight appearance in November 2019.
Epstein was found dead in prison in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide by New York's chief medical examiner.
In the interview with presenter Maitlis, the prince denied allegations he had sex with Virginia Giuffre, who said she was trafficked by Epstein on three separate occasions, including when she was 17 - still a minor under US law.
Giuffre said one alleged encounter began with the prince sweating heavily as they danced at London nightclub Tramp.
But Prince Andrew told Maitlis he had a medical condition at the time that meant he did not sweat, and that he had no recollection of ever meeting Giuffre.
He also insisted he spent the day taking one of his daughters to Pizza Express in Woking, Surrey for a party.
Prince Andrew - the second son of the late Queen Elizabeth II - later paid millions to settle a civil sexual assault case with Giuffre in the US.
