Criminal Assets Bureau looks at the way organised crime is policed in Ireland, The Hairy Bikers Go West returns for a new run, while Boris Becker: The Rise and Fall explores the tennis star's bankruptcy . . .

Pick of the Day

Criminal Assets Bureau, 9.00pm, Virgin Media One

A week after the murder of Veronica Guerin in June 1996, the Oireachtas passed the Proceeds of Crime Bill, and by October the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) was a fully functioning agency of the state.

Since then CAB has completely changed the way organised crime is policed and become a blueprint for fighting organised crime on an international level.

For almost 50 per cent of the population under 35, this is ancient history.

This new series looks at the agency's first 25 years and shows the Irish public CAB's importance at both a national and international level, especially its role as a model for seizing the assets of organised crime worldwide.

I saw this comic-book fantasy sequel, directed by Andy Serkis and starring Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson and Michelle Williams, when it was in the cinema.

It’s good fun and much better than the average Marvel or DC flick.

However, Kasady becomes the host of the symbiote Carnage and escapes prison after a failed execution.

As the company grows, so does scale and the ambition of Penneys’ marketing team.

In Arthur Ryan House, the team are plotting the Rita Ora campaign, which is being kept under wraps with the code name Project Phoenix.

It will be Penneys’ first major global campaign, landing in over 420 stores windows across 16 countries on the same day.

It’s all part of the plan to break America, as Penneys plans to open 60 stores in the US by 2026.

This includes a third store in Long Island, which is set to open in just a matter of weeks if the builders get it finished in time.

Meanwhile Penneys’ resident Ghostbusters are on the hunt for Harry the friendly ghost who supposedly stalks the halls of the Mary Street Store.

Sustainability is top of the agenda as Penneys makes the big call to replace one if its biggest sellers, the cotton make-up remover pad with a reusable version.

And in Boston we meet the Irish team who are bringing 'Penneys Hun’ to the US.

It’s Plymouth Argyle v Leeds United (KO 7.45pm) in a fourth-round replay at Home Park, as the teams compete for the right to face Chelsea or Aston Villa in round five.

Adam Rendell's 73rd-minute equaliser at Elland Road earned Plymouth a chance to progress on home territory, but Leeds will still be hopeful of reaching the last 16 given their stronger form in the Championship this term.
