Their hit, Sweetest Addiction, in a remix by Rich Edwards, has been streamed close to a million times on various music platforms. Later this year, We Ghost's music will be heard in not just one, but two different Swedish film productions.

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I was born and raised in Sweden. I wrote and recorded my first album when I was 15. I once did nine gigs in one week.

How would you describe your music?

It's hard to pick a genre. I find that each song comes in its own style. Sometimes it's tinged with rock or soul, others pop, jazz or reggae. Our sound has evolved over the years from our more acoustic roots to the eclectic mix it is today.

Who are your musical inspirations?

I grew up listening to my father's stack of vinyl: Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Ry Cooder, Nina Simone, to name but a few. They definitely shaped me in more ways than one. In my teens I listened to, for example, Massive Attack, Portishead, The Cure and Radiohead. Music has always been a huge part of my life.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

I think the first proper concert I went to was Radiohead, on their OK Computer tour.

What was the first record you ever bought?

The first record I bought with my own money was Joyride by Roxette.

What's your favourite song right now?

I tend to totally immerse myself in an artist I'm discovering or re-discovering and listen to nothing but their music for months. Currently that is Sault for me. I love living in their musical world right now, I suppose if I had to pick one track it would be Fight For Love form their album 11.

Favourite lyric of all time?

The lyrics of A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall by Bob Dylan.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Easy Skankin' by Bob Marley, for the backing vocals alone!
