Cameron Diaz has come out of retirement for a Netflix film, Back in Action, starring alongside Jamie Foxx.
The last time the pair acted together was in Annie in 2014.
In 2018, There's Something About Mary star Diaz announced that she would retire from acting.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Back in Action tells the story of Emily and Matt, a pair of former spies who abandoned their CIA careers to start a family together.
However, their cover is blown, forcing them back into the world of espionage.
Speaking in September 2022 on The Rachael Ray Show about her retirement and subsequent return to acting, Diaz said: "It's like a different thing... Like, I took the time. I built, you know? I met my husband, we got married, we built a family, our homes. All those things that take a lot of focus... That is still my priority.
"I wasn't certain at the time, in the beginning of it all, whether or not I could really do both. It just turned out that, at this point in time, it's a really nice thing for my family.
"My husband Benji (Madden) is the best. He's so supportive and he really wants to help me. He's been building his businesses for the last eight years and he appreciates the support that I've given him in that, and he really wants to be able to show me that support.
"He's going to come along with our daughter and we're going to all go together and make a movie in the UK."
A release date for Back in Action is yet to be announced.
