Dominic West has revealed he spent two days in bed after reading reviews of The Crown.
The final season of the sumptuous Netflix royal drama was released last year with some critics lambasting the show for featuring a ghost Princess Diana in a number of scenes, including with West's King Charles, then Prince Charles.
Review: The Crown: Are you ready for Ghost Diana?
The British actor appeared on BBC Radio 4's Today programme where he was asked about whether he was worried about the royal family's reaction to his portrayal of King Charles in the drama.
He responded: "All reactions worry me. I read all the reviews and spent two days in bed.
"So yes, I'm a sensitive soul, I worry about what people think.
"I don't want to make their lives any more difficult than they already are, so I suppose it does concern you."

However, West, who was part of the Netflix drama for the last two seasons, said his overall experience was very positive.
"I loved being on it. I loved wearing the clothes," he shared. "I loved driving the cars and I loved having people bow to me. It's an absolutely wonderful feeling.
"I miss it."
Final episodes of The Crown met with tepid reaction from critics
The 54-year-old actor, also famed for his roles in The Wire and The Affair, was promoting his new UK theatre production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge and added with a laugh: "It's such a relief to now go back to theater and not have to talk about the monarchy any more."
Despite the mixed reviews to final instalments of the series, West's turn as the British royal earned him strong notices and he was recently nominated at the Golden Globes for his performance.
