American singer-songwriter Noah Kahan has apologised to his Irish fans after he made a serious mistake with his European tour merchandise.
The singer, who recently went to No 1 in Ireland with his hit song Stick Season, is due to play the 3Arena in Dublin on 8 February as part of his European tour.

However, the tour merchandise incudes a series of patches, including a green one that reads "Dublin, UK".
Fans were quick to point out the error, with one posting on Instagram: "Fix the Dublin one people didn't die for a design company to call us the UK."
"Man I love you, but read up on Irish History 🙃 Dublin ain't in the UK", said another fan.

27-year-old Vermont native Kahan has since apologised on TikTok, saying "To all my Irish fans: I am terribly sorry about the mistake, which you have every right to be offended by. I did not make the parches (sic) and did not do my due diligence of checking them thoroughly before they were released on socials."
