Things get more heated on The Traitors, Gary Neville pops up on Dragon's Den, Channel 4 drama Truelove concludes, and there’s the self-explanatory Nuclear Armageddon: How Close Are We?

Pick of the Day

The Traitors, 9.00pm, BBC One

As this hugely entertaining show heads closer towards its inevitable if unpredictable climax, things are really hotting up and the Faithfuls continue to crack up.

After a shocking Round Table the previous evening, it all kicks off after a moody breakfast, as speculations rise over a possible new Traitor.

Focus and precision are needed if the Players intend on building the all-important prize pot and protecting themselves from murder.

With the next Round Table looming, pressure mounts and bonds break.

All the while, Claudia Winkleman monitors events and reveals the identity of the next hopeful who must fall on their sword. In between dipping in and out of her impressive wardrobe.

New or Returning Shows

Nuclear Armageddon: How Close Are We? 9.00pm, BBC Two

The old nuclear threat of global annihilation may seem something that went out of fashion in the 1980s, but it’s still a real and present danger.

Towards the end of this month, the global community will learn the updated position of the doomsday clock, a symbolic gauge of the imminent dangers our planet might confront.

Jane Corbin explores the historic site of Robert Oppenheimer's (above) Manhattan Project in New Mexico, uncovers the strategy behind Britain's nuclear deterrent in Scotland.

She also engages with activists in Suffolk who are resisting the potential deployment of a new generation of US weapons on UK soil.

New to Stream

Drag Den With Maunila Luzon, Prime Video

Not to be confused with Dragon's Den. This is a completely different show.

The new season of the hit Filipino reality show - Prime Video’s first renewal of local content in Southeast Asia - returns for a second season.

Drag Den with Manila Luzon Season Two: Retribution - showcasing a fresh batch of queens - promises to be even bigger, with a new den, a new set of rules, and a new roster of judges.

Consisting of eight episodes, there'll be a new episode available weekly.

Drag Lord Manila Luzon, host and executive producer, returns with Nicole Cordoves and Sassa Gurl as the show’s Drag Dealer and Drag Runner, respectively.

Kübra, Netflix

Here’s a drama from Turkey.

Living in the backstreets of Istanbul, Gökhan is trying to pull his life together to marry the love of his life.

His ordinary life gets disrupted when he starts receiving messages from a user called Kübra through an online friendship platform that he is part of: "You are different!" he’s told.

Over time, Gökhan understands the meaning of this message, which he initially ignored, and finds out who Kübra is, giving him intel and warnings on things that nobody knows about including unexpected events.

Gökhan's acceptance of this message takes him on a difficult journey, where he will have enemies as well as supporters. And finds himself taking sides in the war between "darkness and light".

Don’t Miss

Dragons’ Den, 8.00pm, BBC Two

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville (that's him, second from right below) joins regular entrepreneurs Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies and Steven Bartlett as they consider further investment opportunities.

Neville is in familiar company, as another former professional footballer pitches his match-worn memorabilia business. (Expect the odd pun about 'losing shirts’).

Plus, an ear acupuncture devotee wants to bring the ancient Chinese practice into the future, while a Welsh couple think they've found the best way to view a favourite movie.

Then there’s a spiritual entrepreneur who is convinced his all-natural drink will become more popular than coffee.

Julia, 9.00pm, Sky Atlantic

Streaming on NOW and Sky Box Sets

News last week that this acclaimed show starring Sarah Lancashire had been cancelled after two seasons came as a bit of a surprise – but that’s showbiz, eh?

Tonight’s episode sees Avis bond with a prominent existentialist, while Julia turns to her friends at Le Cordon Bleu for help with an impossible recipe.

Ending Today

Truelove, 9.00pm, Channel 4

It’s the last episode of this compelling drama, starring Lindsay Duncan, Clarke Peters, Phil Davis, Peter Egan and Christopher Fairbank.

Phil and Ken are left reeling by the truth about Marion. Phil must do everything she can to save Ken from ruining the rest of his life - and make amends for a love she let pass her by 50 years earlier.

If you missed it, all six episodes remain available to watch on Channel 4’s catch-up service.

Movie

Citizen Kane, 8.00pm, BBC Four

Another chance to see the greatest movie ever made (TM John Byrne).

I believe everyone should see this film when they’re 15 because it’s an education for life as well as a cinematic masterpiece.

It’s also an Oscar-winning drama, written, directed by and starring a debutant Orson Welles, who – remarkably - was still in his early twenties when he was putting Kane together.

After the death of an influential newspaper magnate, an inquisitive reporter begins piecing together the details of his life, as he went from rags to riches, then influence to infamy.

Along the way he unearths an epic tale of ambition and conflict - all the while trying to discover the meaning behind the millionaire's enigmatic last word.

The superb cast includes Joseph Cotten, Dorothy Comingore, Agnes Moorehead and William Alland.

Followed by Alan Yentob Remembers Orson Welles at 10pm and then The Orson Welles Story: Arena - Part One at 10.15pm.
