Neven Maguire's become a right Portu-geezer these days.

To open this second season of the series, the Cavan cook embarks on a culinary journey around Porto, where he climbs the Clérigos Tower and shares a signature dish with chef Manuela Pinto at the 100-year-old Majestic Café.

Neven focuses on food this time during his visit to Porto, visiting the contemporary restaurant Vinum, which specialises in local and Basque Country cuisine.

Here he enjoys a popular Portuguese dish Portugal, consisting of grilled game sausages with peppers, and a traditional kale, potato and chorizo soup.

His other food ventures include learning to cook a Porto version of a Portuguese fish stew from chef Tony Salgado and calling in at a bakery in the suburb of Foz Do Douro to make a typical Portuguese Christmas Cake.

New to Stream

The Artful Dodger, Disney+

This new series is a bit of an Oliver Twist prequel starring David Thewlis and is set in 1850s Australia, in the lively colony of Port Victory.

Jack Dawkins is The Artful Dodger, whose fast, pickpocketing fingers have turned into the skilled hands of a surgeon.

Dodger’s past returns to haunt him with the arrival of Fagin (Thewlis), luring him back into a world of crime

A greater threat - to Dodger’s heart - is Lady Belle, the Governor’s daughter, determined to become the colony’s first female surgeon.

From heists to life-and-death surgeries, to the harsh realities of the criminal world mingling with the middle ground and gentry.

This is a tale of reinvention, betrayal, redemption, and love with - eh - a bit of a twist.

The Creator, Disney+

During a future war between humans and AI, an ex-special forces agent (John David Washington) grieving the disappearance of his wife (Gemma Chan).

He is recruited to kill an AI architect who has developed a mysterious weapon that could end humankind, in what promises to be an epic sci-fi action thriller.

American Nightmare, Netflix

After a home invasion and abduction, a young couple's recounting of the events is deemed too far-fetched for the police to believe.

Why did the victims seem so calm? Was it all just a hoax?

From the filmmakers behind The Tinder Swindler, this three-part docuseries unravels the consequences of the cultural rush to judgment, and the damage done when law enforcement decides the truth can’t possibly be true.

Don’t Miss

The Traitors, 9.00pm, BBC One

This second season is arguably more fun than the first. Where do they find these people? And how impressive is Claudia Winkelman's wardrobe?

As the remaining contestants complete their biggest challenge yet, the castle is rocked by the murderous Traitors' actions when another Faithful faces their death.

With emotions running high, the Faithful seek revenge at the Round Table, but will the Traitors go undetected, or will they be fighting for their places in the game?

Truelove, 9.00pm, Channel 4

It’s such a pity this compelling (if rather implausible) drama about elderly friends mercy-killing each other is up against The Traitors. Thankfully, it’s available to download etc.

Worth watching just for Lindsay Duncan. She’s as superb as ever, here as retired senior police officer Phil. But everyone else also puts in a great shift in a tale that’s well told and not a bit mawkish.

In this penultimate episode (it wraps tomorrow night), Phil is on high alert when she discovers Marion's doctor had no idea about her dementia. Meanwhile, Ayesha is closing in on her.

Screw, 10.35pm, RTÉ2

The smart and humorous prison drama, starring Nina Sosanya, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell (below), Laura Checkley, Stephen Wight, Ron Donachie and Faraz Ayub, continues.

Supervising officer Leigh Henry comes under increased pressure to produce her birth certificate to secure the promotion she so desperately wants.

The return of a troublesome old adversary on the wing is the last thing she needs, and her controversial strategy to help a prisoner who's being intimidated pits her against Gary, but could bring an unexpected solution to her problem.

Meanwhile, with her colleagues' help, probationer Rose finds her feet in this terrifying new world - though a tense encounter with a prisoner reminds her what's at stake.

Memento Mori, 10.00pm, BBC Four

Here’s a bit of a gem from the BBC vaults, which was originally broadcast in 1992.

It’s a drama, based on the novel by Muriel Spark, starring Maggie Smith, Michael Hordern, Renee Asherson, Stephanie Cole, Zoe Wannamaker and Thora Hird.

It tells the story of a group of elderly friends in 1950s’ London who get tormented by a series of mysterious phone calls.

'Remember you must die,' says the anonymous voice on the other end of the telephone.

Is it a practical joke or is there a more sinister purpose threatening the lives of the recipients, friends who share guilty secrets from the past?
