Irish comedian and podcaster Joanne McNally is among five new contestants for the new line-up of season 17 of hit show Taskmaster.
She will join comedian and radio presenter John Robins, actor and comedian Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso), writer and comedian Sophie Willan (Alma's Not Normal), and actor and writer Steve Pemberton (Inside No. 9).

Hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne will return as hosts of the Channel 4 show, which has won BAFTA and National Comedy Award awards and become the channel’s third most streamed title of the year with 2.3 billion viewing minutes recorded across all series watched in 2023.
Transmission details of the new season will be announced in the coming weeks.
The comedy entertainment show was originally created by Horne and sees Davies taking the role of as the all-powerful "Taskmaster", who sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five comedians through a series of strange and surreal challenges.
160 episodes have been produced in the UK so far, as part of a six-season deal with Channel 4 in 2020, which has recently been renewed for a further six series by the broadcaster following nine series on UKTV’s Dave.
