Dancing on Ice, 6.30pm, Virgin Media One

Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern (below) present the return of the ice-dancing contest for a 16th season.

This year, Adele Roberts, Amber Davies, Claire Sweeney, Eddie 'the Eagle' Edwards, Greg Rutherford, Hannah Spearritt, Lou Sanders, Miles Nazaire, Ricky Hatton, Ricky Norwood, Roxy Shahidi and Ryan Thomas compete.

They’ll all hope to become champion of the rink with the help of some of the world's leading skating professionals.

Oti Mabuse, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are the judges as the first six couples take to the ice.

New or Returning Shows

Wheel of Fortune, 8.00pm, Virgin Media One

With Gladiators on the comeback trail, here's another revived show (which started last week in the UK). Is TV running out of ideas?

Graham Norton hosts the revival of the game show in which three contestants compete to solve word puzzles to get the chance to spin the wheel and win big money prizes, with a potential jackpot of £50,000.

You can also catch this show on UTV and ITV1 on Saturdays.

Big Boys, 10.00pm, Channel 4

The second season of the comedy about two mismatched young men at university in the 2010s begins with a double episode.

First up, it's summer 2014, and the gang are celebrating what would have been Jack's dead dad's 60th birthday.

While grappling with having nowhere to live, Jack has an eye-opening gay encounter in the toilets.

Meanwhile, Danny tries to woo Corinne and cousin Shannon gets a huge shock.

Fleadh 2023 - Na Bannaí Céilí, 9.30pm, TG4

The Senior Céilí Bands Competition is the highlight of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, closing a week of concerts and competitions between bands from Ireland, Scotland and Australia.

This programme follows them as they prepare for the competition and hears from members who have long been involved in the Fleadh, with a particular focus on the winners - Piper's Cross Céilí Band - from Mayo.

Presented by Fiona Ní Flaithearta.

Taskmaster: Champion of Champions 2024, 9.00pm, Channel 4

Former champions Dara Ó Briain (above), Morgana Robinson, Sarah Kendall and Sophie Duker return to the show, and compete alongside season 15 runner-up Kiell Smith-Bynoe.

One of them will cart home the ultimate prize – nothing less than show host Greg Davies' buff body forged in gold.

A Tiger’s Journey, Sky Cinema & NOW

Sunny Pawar, Claudia Gerini, Amandeep Singh and Yoon C Joyce star in director Brando Quilici’s family adventure - a tale of love, friendship and the journey home.

When a tiger cub falls prey to ruthless poachers, he soon finds himself on the way to market until a young boy steps in and rescues him.

And so, the adventure begins to get this orphaned cub safely to the Tiger’s Nest sanctuary, in hope of finding him a new family.

Forming a remarkable bond, this boy and his tiger must face impossible odds and a race against time, as the poachers chase them through the extreme climates across the Himalayan mountains.

Jennifer Zamparelli and Doireann Garrihy (below) present as the various couples take on the cha-cha, tango and waltz, before the judges determine their scores.

The 11 celebrities taking on the challenge this year are: Eileen Dunne, Rosanna Davison, David Whelan, Blu Hydrangea, Miriam Mullins, Laura Fox, Shane Quigley Murphy, Davy Russell, Katja Mia, Rory Cowan, and Jason Smyth.

All three judges – Loraine Barry, Brian Redmond and Arthur Gourounlian – continue to give their informed, upfront and sometimes tough-talking reviews and scores from each of the live performances to the contestants.

Call the Midwife, 8.00pm, BBC One

Shelagh and Joyce oversee the care of a heavily pregnant mother of one, who confides her husband has left her just days before their baby is due.

She proves to be quite a difficult patient, but there are greater challenges ahead when it is revealed that her flat is riddled with damp.

Nancy and Dr Turner care for a Sylheti woman with an undiagnosed illness, and Matthew teaches Trixie how to drive.

The Tourist, 9.00pm, BBC One

The Jamie Dornan-starring drama continues its Irish odyssey.

Reeling from Helen's discovery, Elliot confronts Frank, who offers him a deal.

But a meeting with Niamh proves that the deal will be difficult to deliver on. Fergal makes a startling discovery about his family and decides to take matters into his own hands while he's away at Irish school.

Violence continues to mount drastically between the Cassidys and the McDonnells, putting Helen and Elliot in even more danger.

Sport

Live Snooker: The Masters, 7.00pm, BBC Two

Coverage of the second session of the final at Alexandra Palace in London, where the first player to reach 10 frames will win the title.

There's also NFL Play-off action on Sky Sports if you fancy a late one.
